Grant & Aid

We believe in the power of private education, and we want families in our community to have access to it. We recognize some families will need tuition assistance. Because of that, we use an accurate, unbiased process for determining which students receive awards and how much each of those awards should total.

SNU Lab School has partnered with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to create a custom application that securely collects our families’ financial data. This allows us to make data-driven award decisions based on financial needs. To better serve our families, we have seamlessly integrated this into our online admissions and (re)enrollment process.

Tuition Assistance Programs at SNU Lab School

We understand that ensuring a quality education for your child is a top priority. At the SNU Lab School, we are committed to providing educational opportunities that empower students to thrive. We recognize that tuition costs can be a concern for many families, and that's why we want to share with you the various tuition assistance programs available to help make private education accessible to all.

Opportunity Scholarship Fund

The Opportunity Scholarship Fund is a cornerstone of tuition assistance programs for private schools in Oklahoma. This program is designed to break down barriers and provide educational opportunities to students from diverse backgrounds. Through the Opportunity Scholarship Fund, eligible students can receive financial support to attend private schools like SNU Lab School. This initiative is dedicated to expanding access to quality education and enhancing diversity in educational options across our great state.

Lindsey Nicole Henry Scholarship

We understand that each child is unique, and their educational needs may vary. The Lindsey Nicole Henry Scholarship is a specialized program in Oklahoma that focuses on students with disabilities. This scholarship distribution amount is limited and determined by the State Department of Education. Financial assistance is limited and may be applied to tuition, enrollment fees, and services based on qualifying circumstances. This allows families to choose a private school that can provide the necessary support and accommodations for their child's education. We are proud to empower parents to make education choices that best suit their child's unique needs.

529 Savings Plan

Planning for your child's private school education is a wise investment in their future. The 529 Savings Plan is an excellent option for families looking to prepare for these educational expenses. This savings plan allows parents and guardians to set aside funds for educational costs, including private school tuition, in a tax-advantaged account. By contributing to a 529 Savings Plan, families can gradually build the financial resources needed to ensure their children have access to quality private education.

Parental Choice Tax Credit (Up to $7,500 per student per year)

Beginning in 2024, the Parental Choice Tax Credit program will provide a significant financial incentive for parents in Oklahoma. It offers a tax credit of up to $7,500 per student per year for educational expenses, reducing overall tax liability. This program represents the state's dedication to expanding educational options for families and making private school education more affordable.

Student Tuition Assistance Committee (STAC) Generated Donations

At SNU Lab School, we believe in the power of community support. The Student Tuition Assistance Committee (STAC) is a parent-led program that generates donations from individuals, corporations, and organizations to fund tuition assistance for deserving students attending our school. These generous contributions enable students from families with lower incomes to access quality education that might otherwise be financially out of reach. It underscores the significance of community backing for education.

Endowed Scholarships

Endowed Scholarships are used for financial hardships and play a crucial role in our tuition assistance program. Typically funded by private donors or institutions, these scholarships alleviate financial burdens for families facing economic challenges, ensuring that students can pursue their education at SNU Lab School without undue financial stress.

If you have any questions about these tuition assistance programs or would like to make a donation to support tuition assistance at SNU Lab School, please do not hesitate to contact us. Your involvement and commitment to education are deeply appreciated.
