About Erin Martin RDN/LD
Services and specialty: I specialize in one-on-one comprehensive nutritional analysis with recommendations based on your unique individual health needs.
I provide education on specialized diets such as the Diabetic Diet, Healthy Heart, Gluten Free, Food Allergies/Intolerances, Low Sodium, Anti-inflammatory, Endurance Training and Athletics as well as many many others.
My services include weight loss/management, individualized meal plans/menus, realistic lifestyle modifications in overall health and wellness, comprehensive metabolic profiling with comparison of fat and muscle percentage ratio, exercise regimens, as well as counseling individuals for behavioral modifications such as eating disorders.
What should you expect during the first initial visit? The initial visit will take anywhere from 45-60 minutes. During this visit you will participate in a comprehensive nutritional analysis. It focuses on your nutrient intake, eating behaviors, level of motivation, goals, BMI, physical activity, and medical history. I will then discuss your overall nutritional profile and explain different approaches to your unique goals.
Follow up sessions: The follow up visits focus on how you are doing with the recommendations made during the first visit. You may be asked to keep a food journal. These visits are a monitoring process where I would assesses your progress and provide support, guidance and accountability. The follow up visits usually last about 20-30 minutes.
